Healthpoint is pleased to announce that 30 g tubes of Collagenase SANTYL^® Ointment will once again be available to pharmacies nationwide on or about February 15, 2010.

Healthpoint understands that many prescribers who prefer the 30 g size have been awaiting its return. We are grateful for the patience these prescribers have shown while we increased manufacturing capacity for SANTYL^® Ointment to satisfy the surge in demand following the removal of papain-based debriding agents from the market. Our improvements are now complete, and, beginning February 15, healthcare providers may select 15 g or 30 g tubes of SANTYL^® Ointment for their patients as appropriate.

Healthcare professionals are encouraged to prescribe SANTYL^® Ointment in 30 g increments for patients with wounds requiring more than 15 grams for treatment.
